Henry L. Croft, Jr., VMD, CEO - Dr. Croft was raised in Irwin, PA and graduated from Norwin High School in 1971. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Penn State University in 1975. He earned his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine in 1978.

Dr Croft and his wife Tina live in Stahlstown with their 4
dogs (Willow, Zoey, Chloe and Mia ),2 cats ( Calli and Minnie) and two
ponies (Brownie and Ginger)."

Lynn Springer, DVM - Originally from Ohio, Dr. Springer graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 1979. She earned her doctorate in 1986 from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and performs our surgeries, most of them utilizing our CO2 LASER. Dr. Springer previously worked in the equine field of veterinary medicine. She joined the staff of Loyalhanna Veterinary Clinic, Inc. in January of 1999 and is also a member of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Springer and her husband, Charlie, are the parents of Kaylie and Brandon. The Springer family, including two dogs and two cats, make their home in Mt. Pleasant, PA.

Ben Helman, DVM Dr. Helman grew up in Salem Township outside of Greensburg, PA.  He graduated from Greensburg Salem in 1998 and went on to the University of Virginia where he received a BA in Biology in 2002.  He then completed one year of research in the Biology Department at the University of Indiana before beginning veterinary school.  During veterinary school Dr. Helman had the opportunity to study wildlife medicine in Kruger National Park, South Africa.  He graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.  He is married to , Julie, and currently lives in the Greensburg area. They have three dogs and two cats.

 

Our technicians are highly skilled professionals who are trained to perform diagnostic tests, treat patients and educate clients.

Linda Maugle, Office Manager, organizes our entire staff and assures a smooth flow at the clinic. Since 1986, Linda has enjoyed working in the veterinary medical field. She is always willing to assist our clients with any concerns they may have. Linda has achieved the title of Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She currently runs our Puppy Pre-School Program.

Jill , a member of Ligonier Valley High School Class of 1998, graduated from the Median School of Allied Health Careers in August of 2000. She has been a member of the 4-H Club for 11 years, and a Leader for the past 3 years.

Terri  is the caretaker of our feline friends at the Country Cabin Cattery boarding facility and is also a member of our technical team.

Joined our team in June of 2008 and is currently taking courses to become a certified veterinary technician.

Our friendly receptionists effectively coordinate office appointments for your pet’s vaccinations, exams, and surgeries. They’ll politely address questions you may have about your pet.

Andrea Ulery has worked with Dr. Croft since 1994. Her previous medical receptionist experience enables her to oversee our office procedures.

Lindsey Smith joined our veterinary team in 1996 with five years of previous medical office experience.

Sherri Gearhart came on board February of 2003. She graduated from Ligonier High School in 1991 and completed a medical terminology course in May of 2002.

Susan Henderson joined our receptionist team in the summer of 2008.  She is shown above with her dog Magic.
