 Ciel is
now 1 year old and is progressing nicely in his training. He now wears his vest
which identifies him as a puppy in training. Ciel now frequents public places
such as restaurants, Lowes, Kmart, Sam's Club, and the mall, just to name a few.
Here, he is participating in a Bite Free program at Woodbridge Preschool, which
is presented by Dr. Croft.
Linda's Canine Companion for Independence puppy in training is
Ciel. He is currently 19 weeks old and training is progressing nicely.
House training is done, thank goodness! We are already working
on 22 of the 30 commands I have to teach him. He is starting to catch on to the
concept of loose leash walking, and I am starting to teach him what "stay"
means.
In about four weeks, Ciel will receive his vest with the CCI
logo which identifies him as a puppy in training. At that time, we will be
starting our public outings, beginning with low distraction environments and
gradually building to environments with higher distraction.
